Fifth wheel steering describes a type of steering where the front wheels and axle assembly pivot on a center point, which is referred to as the fifth wheel. Because the steering wheels encounter less friction when turning than would be encountered in a swivel caster, wagon trucks with fifth wheel steering can be easier to maneuver under heavier load conditions. This is especially true when softer, wider pneumatic wheels are required because of use on rough or uneven surfaces. Wagon Trucks with this type of steering are typically pulled, but can also be pushed. T-handle with vinyl handgrips allows two man operation.

Heavy Duty Platform Trucks

Capacities to 3500 lbs. Trucks are formed into a solid unit with a 12 gauge steel deck welded to a structural steel frame. Sturdy removable pipe handle extends 29½ above deck. Axle mounted load wheels are 12½ x 2-1/2,½ swivel caster wheels are 8½ x 2.½ Deck height 14.

Top deck is 24½ high to minimize bending & lifting. Bottom shelf has retaining lip, top shelf is available with a lip or flush. Clearance between shelves is 14.½ Rolls easily on 5½ non-marking polyurethane casters, 2 swivel with wheel brakes and 2 rigid. 1000 lb. capacity.

Commonly referred to as order pickers or stock trucks, these premium shelf trucks will withstand years of rugged service. Shelves are heavy 12 gauge steel with structural angle sub-frame. Larger sizes also have reinforced top shelf. These welded units are shipped set up and ready for immediate use, with 2 swivel and 2 rigid casters. Shelf clearance 19".

Multi-Shelf Trucks

Storage Rack on Wheels. Heavy duty trucks with three, four, or five shelves. All welded 12 gauge steel shelves provide plenty of space to transport your large loads. Also used as portable storage racks that can be moved for cleaning, or to different locations as your storage requirements change. Two rigid and two swivel casters with 6½ x 2½ phenolic wheels are welded to sturdy sub-frame. Comfortable formed 1½ tubular steel push handle. Shelves available flush or with 1-1/2½ retaining lip. 3600-lb. capacity.

Flip Top Locking Tray Truck

Use the hinged 12 gauge steel lid as a work surface, or as a flat shelf to transport material. When fully opened, the lid rests down along the side of the truck and out of the way. The large 6½ deep top tray provides a generous storage area, and has a lockable hasp to secure tools and valuables. Bottom shelf is 3½ deep for added storage. Non-marking polyurethane wheels provide a smooth quiet ride, and wheel brakes prevent unwanted movement. Capacity 800 lbs. with blue enamel finish.

For bulk handling, the heavy duty small 3/4½ x 1-1/2½ diamond shaped openings and heavy gauge of the flattened expanded metal on this truck provide maximum security for even the smallest items, while still allowing good visibility and air circulation. The double doors swing open a full 270 degrees, back to the sides and out of the way, and feature padlockable hasp. Adjustable Sheet & Panel Truck

Emergency Response Wagon

Welded Steel Workbenches & Table

Smooth 12 gauge steel top is reinforced with angle iron on the underside and gussets in the corners for exceptional strength and rigidity. Legs and lower braces are 1-1/2½ x 1-1/2½ x 3/16½ thick angle iron. Legs have 2½ square footpads with 9/16½ hole for mounting to the floor. These all-welded units ship fully assembled and ready for immediate use. Gray enamel finish, 36½ overall height.
